This is a large community leisure centre just outside Hatfield, offering a host of services to the community of Hatfield and Welwyn Garden City. Creswick Primary & Nursery School is located to the east of Ascots Green. The school can be accessed from the site via Middlefield and Layton Street with footways provided along the whole route with adequate crossing provision.
Little Tulips Day Nursery is located north of Ascots Green. They are accessed from the site via Middlefield, Layton Street, on to Sir John Newsom Way, on Great Ley, on to Woodhall Lane with adequate crossing facilities are provided throughout the route, with street lighting throughout the route.
Our Lady Catholic Primary School is located to the north Little Tulips Day Nursery along Woodhall Lane. Adequate crossing facilities are provided throughout the route, with street lighting throughout the route.
